Chartwell Country Club

Description

Gaines has begun a new project converting a nearly 50 year-old lake at the Chartwell Country Club into a modern storm water management facility.  This will entail construction of a 200 foot long concrete dam, reaching 20 feet in height.  This will control runoff in the area, protecting the nearby Severn River as well as its residents.  It will also serve as a source of irrigation supply for the golf course.
