Description
The SR-46 2007 East Durham Outfalls, Phase III contract consisted of furnishing and installing over 4600LF of sewer lines for the rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer mains for 25 different sewer reaches, the installation of 2100 LF of pipe bursting, and 700 LF of cured in place liner with associated manhole and sewer service replacements. Bypass set ups were installed at 49 locations. All the work took place in active neighborhoods and commercial sites where Gaines had to manage traffic control, road repairs, tree removal, driveway repairs, clearing and grubbing, erosion control, and curb line replacement as part of this work. The contract was 210 days long, but Gaines was able to finish the work in just over half that time. Because of our quality of work, the City has kept our contract open and has pushed more work to us.
