Description
Gaines served as a subcontractor to Potts and Callahan on Whiting Turner’s major mall expansion. It will include a Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang’s, Crate and Barrel, the Pottery Barn as well as 26 other major retailers. Intricate planning involved value engineering and included some night work to avoid traffic and construction congestion. Much coordination among the trades was required to build this addition without inconveniencing the mall patrons or the general public. Existing lines had to be kept in service while the new lines were being added; this required an experienced contractor with an experienced crew; and that is what Gaines & Company provided.
