Mechanic Noah Geiman is not only a wealth of knowledge, but is also eager to continue developing his expertise in heavy equipment technology.

Noah Geiman joined Gaines and Company’s elite team of mechanics in the Maryland shop in May 2025. Since then, he has not only used his knowledge to ensure equipment maintenance and integrity, but has also continued to develop his skills every day.

Noah came to the company with a background in heavy equipment technology that he got from attending Pennsylvania College of Technology, where he earned an associate’s degree in Diesel Technology.

“In school, we dealt mostly with tractor trailer work. Working on equipment is a whole new world, but I really enjoy it,” said Noah. “I love that I learn something new every day.”

Noah is one of seven mechanics out of Gaines’s Maryland shop. They are responsible for maintenance, preventative maintenance, and DOT inspections for all heavy equipment, as well as light- and heavy-duty trucks for the entire Maryland Gaines fleet. In order to service this many pieces of equipment, Noah typically works on two or three different pieces of equipment every day. While spending most of his days in the shop, he is always ready to go into the field for on-site servicing when needed.

“Noah has a great personality and clearly knows heavy equipment, which is remarkable for being so young. I see a bright future for Noah within Gaines and Company,” said Safety Director Dominic Pope.

“Honestly, I really like the people I work with. It is hard work, but we have fun doing it. I get up in the morning excited to go to work because I love it,” added Noah.
