Breaking Ground On A Groundbreaking Project In Wake Forest, North Carolina

Gaines and Company recently broke ground on a future business development just miles northwest of its North Carolina office location. The Wake Forest Exchange project will provide business opportunities for the local community.
Gaines and Company recently started grading and excavation on a 30-acre site in Wake Forest, North Carolina, which will be home to a mixed-use business community. Gaines’s Grading and Utilities crews are working to complete land clearing, earthwork, stormwater management (bioretention ponds, sediment and erosion control, storm drains, retaining walls), grading and excavating, finish work, underground utilities (water and sewer), and road work (paving).
The Wake Forest Exchange project is roughly 13 miles north of Raleigh.
“We are thrilled to be part of a project that will bring substantial economic development and opportunity to the local community,” said Gaines and Company’s Vice President of its North Carolina division, George Grammer. “It’s always exciting to see projects like this come together, and breaking ground is just the first step.”
The project will be completed by St. John Properties in two phases with an estimated project completion date of 2027.
