Gaines Moves Into a New Office as the North Carolina Market Grows

Sitting on nearly 35 acres in Spring Hope is Gaines and Company’s new North Carolina home. Employees in this office support work throughout the Carolinas region. The location features a 2-story office building (totaling over 8,400 sq. ft.) and 13,200 sq. ft. shop with offices, restrooms, and break rooms.

“We outgrew our old shop, yard, and office in North Carolina years ago,” said Vice President Bill Gaines. “We made it work by sacrificing our kitchen and conference room. However, in late 2021, we realized it was time to look for a new home.”

Thankfully, at that time, Gaines was working on a project with Merritt Properties. We immediately knew we didn’t have to look very far to find the perfect developer to help us build our perfect new home.

  • Fuel island with canopy, bulk fill for top loading fuel trucks at 150 GPM, 2 DEF dispensers, 4 on-road fuel nozzles, and 3 off-road fuel nozzles (1 bulk and 2 lower flow)
  • 24,000-gallon fuel storage
• Site-wide security features (cameras, RFID access, key fobs, automatic gates, fuel security)

About 110 field employees, 16 office personnel, and 18 drivers and shop personnel work out of this new office and shop location.
