Hauling (a lot of) Dirt for Stephen’s Crossing Entrance Connection

Gaines and Company imports and places approximately 25,000 CY of dirt to meet grade for Mattawoman Drive Extension – the main entrance road for Stephen’s Crossing at Brandywine.
Gaines and Company is hauling dirt – a lot of dirt – to connect Mattawoman Drive Extension to Stephen’s Crossing in Brandywine, Maryland.

Mattawoman Drive Extension will be the main entrance road to Stephen’s Crossing at Brandywine – a 60-acre townhome development by Elm Street Development. To bring the road up to grade, Gaines is importing and placing approximately 25,000 CY of material. That’s a lot of dirt!

Concurrently, a Gaines and Company pipe crew is diligently installing a storm drain for the development.
The development is currently in Phase 2 of 5. Groundbreaking on this 497-townhome development occurred in September 2024.
