JOB POSITION:
Utility Foreman
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Has been a foreman for at least 3 years
- Has extensive experience running heaving equipment
- Has laid pipe as a pipelayer
- Has worked his way up the ranks knowing what is expected of everyone who is working for him
- Communicates well with inspectors, clients, and superintendents
- Has OSHA 10 training at a minimum
- Is competent person trained
DESCRIPTION:
Gaines and Company, founded in 1954, is a well-established residential and commercial site developer seeking a Foreman to run an 8-man underground utility crew that will install water, sewer and storm drain pipe for mostly new residential subdivisions. The Foreman is expected to have several years of experience leading a crew and multiple years of experience in the industry.
Our Foremen is expected to work with his guys to get things done. This will require him to work shoulder to shoulder with his guys at times or operate heavy equipment. His crew will be very experienced, but he will need to be present to direct them and supervise them.
