Two Crews receive 2017’s First Quarter Safety Incentive Award in Maryland

Out of the many Maryland crews that show their dedication to safety every day, there are two – Matt Hobbs and Gary Collins Crews that went above and beyond in the first quarter of 2017. Matt Hobbs has been an outstanding leader in guiding his young crew, showing them the ropes in safety measures, individually and as a group. One outstanding employee under Matt’s guidance is Brett Yoe. Brett has grown tremendously, working his way up from a new operator to someone whose dedication to safety on the job is exemplary.

Gary Collins and his crew have shown a true dedication to safety on the Pike and Rose project in Bethesda, Maryland – a job that was out of the ordinary because of special safety-related issues and extensive night work. Gary and his crew stepped up and showed they know what it takes to work safely and productively, taking into consideration the public and other civilians that were around the job site. Aubrey Wagner was a great addition to Gary’s crew on this job because of his experience working in challenging nighttime conditions. The entire crew went above and beyond by putting safety first.

Congratulations to both these crews on a job well done.
