Wheatlands

Turnkey Site Development – Queenstown, Maryland

In August 2026, Gaines and Company broke ground on the Wheatlands project in Queenstown, Maryland. We are contracted by Waterman Family Limited Partnership to bring our expertise to successfully develop this new residential community.

Wheatlands is a 148-acre project that will be home to 79 townhouses, 20 cottage courts, and 77 single-family homes.

We will complete our work throughout two phases. Our complete scope of work includes land clearing, sediment controls, earthwork, site utilities, pump station installation, off-site force main, paving, and State Highway Administration (SHA) road improvements.

Because we are working on a tight schedule, we are proactively preparing for the upcoming winter season and its associated challenges.

We anticipate wrapping up this project in the Summer of 2027.
