Gaines and Company Goes Deep on Contractor Awards
One of the first things you notice when you visit the Gaines and Company home office is how many awards they have covering their walls. For at least the last 15 years Gaines and Company has received the prestigious designation as a “Top 600 Specialty Contractor” in the Engineering News Record (ENR) magazine. ENR is a key industry resource providing up to date engineering and construction news, analysis, commentary and data. They also perform annual surveys of key segments, ranking companies engaged in general contracting, specialty contracting, engineering, architecture and environmental services, among other specialties. The rankings are based on the annual revenue of firms who participate in specific market categories. Since 2003, Gaines and Company has consistently been listed in the top 20 of Utility Contractors who participate in this national survey.
Gaines and Company, a mid-Atlantic site development contractor, references ENR for project news in Maryland, Delaware, District of Columbia and North Carolina. “ENR connects diverse sectors of the industry with coverage that everyone needs about issues such as business management, design, construction methods, technology, safety, law, legislation, environment and labor.”
An addition to all the ENR awards, the Baltimore Business Journal (BBJ) named Gaines and Company number 16 among the top construction and general contracting firms in the greater Baltimore area in 2014.
