Gaines Once Again Supports LGI Homes on North Carolina Development

Gaines and Company delivers site development expertise at Deep River East in Sanford, North Carolina.

Gaines is proud to once again support LGI Homes with another project – Deep River East (Phase 2).

Deep River East is located in Sanford, North Carolina. It will consist of 90 single family homes, as well as a greenway trail.

Thanks to Gaines and Company’s massive fleet of equipment and site development expertise, Gaines has what it takes to support LGI Homes on another residential development.

Gaines and Company is responsible for all erosion control and grading, as well as water, sewer, and storm drain work. Gaines’s trusted subcontractors will assist with this work— Simmons & Simmons Management, Inc. (site clearing), Vertical Walls (retaining walls), Fred Smith (paving), Capital City Curb & Gutter (concrete). Gaines’s scope of work is anticipated to be completed in Fall 2025.

“Since the start of this project, weather has been a challenge. We have also hit a lot of rock,” said Project Manager / Estimator Melanie Hill. “But we have experienced crews working on this job who are safely getting the work done while meeting the project schedule.”

Gaines is pleased to have the opportunity to once again highlight its expertise on an LGI Homes project. Other projects Gaines has worked on with LGI Homes include Meadows at Oxford (North Carolina), Atherstone (North Carolina), Deep River West (North Carolina), McCormick Property (Maryland), and Woodcrest (Pennsylvania).
