Three years ago, Gaines’s Safety Director Dominic Pope accepted Chesapeake Region Safety Council’s (CRSC) Gold Award of Excellence from CRSC President Dave Madaras.
…and again two years later.
…and again earlier this month.
And, you know what? It keeps feeling better and better!

Gaines and Company is a consistent supporter of CRSC and its mission to “educate and influence people to prevent accidental injury and death
Gaines won the Gold Award of Excellence in 2023, 2025, and 2026.
“Winning this award for the third time supports the fact that our safety culture is truly unique. It is not a series of rules and regulations. Rather, it is a company-wide sentiment in which we consistently and continually focus on the health and safety of ourselves and each other,” said Vice President David Gaines.
The Gold Award of Excellence is awarded to companies that display a solid safety culture throughout the entire organization with a primary focus on preventing accidental injury or death.
Dominic accepted this award on behalf of the entire Gaines organization on June 12 at a special award ceremony luncheon held at CRSC’s office in Baltimore, Maryland. As a proud and long-time supporter of CRSC, Gaines sponsored the event.
Congratulations to the entire Gaines and Company team for this significant recognition!
