Meadows at Westmore

Turnkey Site Development – Upper Marlboro, Maryland

Gaines and Company started the Meadows at Westmore home development project for Stanley Martin Homes in January 2026. This 60-acre site in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, will soon be the location of 262 townhomes and 14 single family homes.

The successful completion of Meadows at Westmore is broken into three phases. During these phases, Gaines is responsible for providing safe, quality site development work, including land clearing, sediment controls, grading, underground utilities (sanitary sewer and water), storm drain, storm water management, curb and paving.

Not only are we delivering turnkey, site development services, but when it comes to dirt moving, this is not a small project. In fact, our grading crews will be hauling approximately 300,000 cubic yards of dirt off-site.

We extend a special thanks to our valued and trusted subcontractors who are bringing their expertise to keep this project on schedule with the quality our customers expect: Magstone (sediment controls), Griffith Brothers (retaining walls), Ruhlman Brothers (curb), and MT Laney (paving).

We anticipate wrapping up the Meadows at Westmore project in the Summer of 2027.
